The first pickleball court at a Danish campsite, perhaps?

We had long dreamed of transforming our worn-out ball fields into a more modern and up-to-date outdoor environment.
In the spring, we were finally able to welcome a huge project, where the square's disused tennis court and football pitch had been transformed into an inspiring and challenging outdoor environment, aimed at all age groups.
In the large area there are i.a. a multitrack, a jumping area, parkour/training facilities, panna track and various lounge furniture.
In addition, we have made a pickleball court, possibly the first on a Danish campsite. Pickleball is a combination of tennis, badminton and padel. It is the fastest growing sport in the world and can be practiced across all ages - see more here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqLRRNOpe8U
The entire area has a base of artificial grass and molded rubber, which gives a uniform look and provides minimal maintenance. And then it's just much more comfortable to walk and run on.
Together with Blåbjerg Leg, we have put together the activities in the area so that all age groups can take part - even grandparents like ourselves. And the most important thing! That you can participate without having prior knowledge, without being in super good shape and there is room to withdraw and just be a spectator.

Blokhus By Camping is located just inside the city limits of Blokhus. When you have arrived, you can safely leave the car, because it is only 50 m to the forest with its many paths, running routes, MTB route and large nature playground as well as picnic and bonfire areas.
In the forest you will also find acess to Hærvejen, Vestkystruten, The North Sea Trail, National route 1 and some of the Panorama routes.
If you prefer the beach, it is a 1 kilometer walk directly through the town.
