Over several years, our two Beach Houses have helped us to provide hikers, cyclists and many other travelers and guests to the area with a quick and simple overnight stay in Blokhus.
The beach houses were a project in themselves, they were our first real sustainable initiative. They were originally a shed that was converted into a small toilet house by the campsite's previous owner. We built a replacement for the house and thus the shed became homeless. The idea was initially to give it away to a club or association that would be able to make use of it. But we decided instead to saw down the shed in the middle and convert it into two small cabins that look like the nice beach houses that you see on the beach in Blokhus in the summer.
Over time, we have had many happy guests in the cabins, but we have also received many comments that they were a little too small.
We have now taken the consequences of that. The two beach houses have been given away to a few brave guys who will give them a new location and new tasks.

Instead, we have ordered a - this time - completely new house as a replacement. This new wooden house contains three rooms, each with its own entrance and with its own terrace. In each room there are two single beds (box mattresses), duvets, pillows and a café furniture set, which you are welcome to take outside.
Our new rooming house is located on the campsite right next to the kitchen, toilet and shower facilities.
A room can be rented for one night or more. You decide that yourself.
The house is under construction and is expected to be ready in the spring of 2026.

Blokhus By Camping is located just inside the city limits of Blokhus. When you have arrived, you can safely leave the car, because it is only 50 m to the forest with its many paths, running routes, MTB route and large nature playground as well as picnic and bonfire areas.
In the forest you will also find acess to Hærvejen, Vestkystruten, The North Sea Trail, National route 1 and some of the Panorama routes.
If you prefer the beach, it is a 1 kilometer walk directly through the town.
