In Tórshavn, we walk through narrow streets with grass-roofed houses and feel how history is still a living part of the city. In Gásadalur, you will stand before the Múlafossur waterfall, plunging directly into the sea, and in Kirkjubøur, we visit the ancient ruins that tell the story of the islands’ early Christian history.
On the trip, we also visit villages such as Saksun and Gjógv, where nature shapes small communities that have been shaped by the sea for generations. If you wish, you can extend the trip with a boat tour to the Vestmanna Caves and the vertical bird cliffs, an extraordinary experience.
Throughout the journey, you will be accompanied by a guide who knows the islands intimately and shares stories that make the experiences vivid and engaging. The trip offers both grand vistas and small moments, giving you a true sense of life on the islands today.
