On the South Coast, you will visit highlights such as Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind the waterfall, Skógafoss with its wide cascade, the black sand beach Reynisfjara with its basalt columns, and the viewpoint Dyrhólaey overlooking the coastline. On Vestmannaeyjar, we sail to Heimaey, explore the traces of the 1973 Eldfell eruption, and experience island life up close. In Þjórsárdalur, we visit hidden gems like Gjáin, the reconstructed ruins at Stöng, and the Háifoss waterfall, set in an incredibly beautiful natural area. This tour includes an unusually high number of experiences that you won’t find elsewhere.
Your local, Danish-speaking guide will provide exceptional insight into Iceland’s nature, history, and culture – you will learn about Iceland’s unique geology, from geysers to volcanoes and waterfalls.
