The Most Beautiful Nature in Southwest Ireland - 8 Days
arrow_backTo the overviewA cultural journey off the beaten path, where we meet the real Ireland, not just the places, but the people. We travel in a small group, accompanied by a local driver, which allows us to follow the narrow roads that tourist buses never reach. Here, landscapes await that are so magnificent words almost fail – like the mighty Kerry Cliffs, rising higher and wilder than even the Cliffs of Moher.
We stay in a charming Irish guesthouse in the small town of Killorglin, a place full of smiles, music, and living traditions. In the evenings, the pubs fill with laughter, violin tunes, and the aroma of local dishes. We walk along paths where the grass bends in the wind and through Slea Head and the Gap of Dunloe, where nature speaks for itself. We sail out to Garnish Island, a small paradise of flowers and parkland in the middle of the bay. Along the way, we meet shepherds, musicians, and storytellers, people with earth under their nails and warmth in their eyes.
The guide is the experienced journalist and podcaster Katrine Nyland Sørensen.
