Cavallino – Treporti is a nature park suspended between the Adriatic sea and Venice Lagoon. A unique, 15 km-long area leader in Europe for “open air” tourism.
Cavallino Treporti offers the ideal scenario for a perfectly relaxing stay: long golden beaches safe for families with children, with convenient sea accesses and a full range of facilities; rolling dunes and large pine forests where campsites and tourist resorts are located; important glimpses of history - “Via dei Forti” (www.viadeiforti.it) is an historical route, an open-air museum circuit that links the fortifications built before World War I and II to defend Venice (some of them have been recently restored, especially the Museum V. Pisani Battery dedicated to World War I); villages and communities, the heart of our area.
The nearby lagoon is populated by a great variety of flora and fauna species just waiting to be discovered, by bike, along the many cycle paths.
After a relaxing day on the beach or after a trip, perhaps by bike or boat, lunch or an evening meal in one of the many typical restaurants is highly recommended. Fish and meat accompanied by locally grown fruit and vegetables offer the pleasantness of a holiday spent discovering the quality of life in our Tourism Park.
This is all combined with a large number of day and evening events: evening music events, clubs, cabarets, theatres, amusement parks, weekly and evening markets in addition to some recurring events such as the “Beach on Fire” (15 km of simultaneous fireworks along our beach); “Palio Remiero” (row-boat challenge involving the twelve town districts in Venice lagoon); Sunset Run (running race); Sand&Sound (beach event with music and balls).
