At Øster Hurup you will find Denmark's most child-friendly beach. You have to go far out before the water reaches your navel and the waves are usually lapping small. Øster Hurup Strand stretches from Als Odde in the south to Dokkedal, which is located approximately 10 km north of Øster Hurup.
