The Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism (MT) aims to pursue a transparent tourism policy protecting the state and the public interest on the basis of the EU principles. MT works for positioning Bulgaria as a safe, secure and preferred year-round tourist destination with national identity, authentic culture and nature. Focus is on sustainable growth of main tourism products – sea, winter/ski and cultural tourism and on development of specialized types of tourism – golf, SPA & wellness, eco-tourism, wine and gourmet etc., improving the quality of the national tourism product and its competitiveness.
