In Thyborøn, where Jyllandsakvariet is located, there are plenty of opportunities for nature experiences. Jyllandsakvariet is the largest provider of guided tours and experiences on the West Coast. For example, take a tour with a safari boat to explore the blue world, where seals and playful dolphins live. Or put on a pair of waders and go on an oyster safari or another seafood experience. There are wonderful experiences to be had in nature all year round.

You can also experience Iskunsten - an old freezer house at Thyborøn Harbour, which now houses magical ice art and ice sculptures.

In 2025, Jyllandsakvariet will expand with an aquarium in Hvide Sande, where maritime charm and aquariums in unusual, quirky designs are eye-catching. There is also a large exhibition about amber - the gold of the North Sea. Jyllandsakvariet Hvide Sande will open in April 2025 and is the perfect place for a family outing!
