The GNTO Office of Scandinavia is based in Stockholm and constitutes part of the network of Offices Abroad of the Greek National Tourism Organization. The Office’s area of responsibility is Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and the Baltics.
Its main aim is to project and promote Greece as a tourist destination within its area of responsibility. Among its basic activities is following the market trends in the Nordic region, cooperating with Tour Operators as well as other tourist offices in order to maximise outgoing tourism to Greece. Additionally, a lot of focus is also placed on close co-operation with the Mass Media so as to promote Greece through all available channels (print, internet, television, radio).
Within the frame of a more efficient promotion, the Office seeks to engage in targeted public relations activities and also participates as an exhibitor in international Fairs inspiring the public and providing information to all interested parties.
