The association's members support the dissemination of visual arts, music, crafts, etc. with membership fees and efforts. There are already many performers who are members of the association, but many more are members because they love culture and want the island to buzz with artistic activities.
The purpose of the association is precisely to promote and create fertile ground for the creative activity within all known arts at all levels at Fur. Likewise, it is a purpose to gather the association's members in a common forum for mutual inspiration. Here on our website, FURKUNST communicates. DK events and products from those of the island's artists who want this.
There is commitment and lots of ideas to get to grips with. The association sets up fish for the Fish Parade and holds the annual art exhibition in Fur village hall. Furkunst.dk purchases, whenever possible, art from the association's artists in order to distribute the works to the members at the annual general meeting.
