Welcome to Hadeland Glassworks!
Hadeland Glassworks is situated in scenic surroundings at the southern end of Randsfjorden. The glassworks was founded in 1762 by the Royal Company, an interest company established by King Christian VI, King of Denmark-Norway.
Hadeland Glassworks is Norway's oldest industrial handicraft business with continuous operation.
At Hadeland Glassworks, you can experience glassblowing art up close and even try your hand at glassblowing yourself. You'll also find a wide range of shops offering everything from glass products, lamps, porcelain goods, kitchenware, clothing and shoes, interior decor, exciting food, and beverages.
You'll also find several different dining options that offer everything from fresh pastries to authentic Italian pizza, delicious lunch and dinner dishes, and bubble waffles with ice cream.
At Hadeland Glassworks, we are committed to the environment and sustainability. We continuously work to operate the production sustainably and solely with clean energy. Glass is an environmentally friendly material because it is made from natural raw materials and can be recycled multiple times.
